This is the overview screenshot of the iOS7 on my phone.
As you can see, Apple took a whole new minimalistic approach and changed the whole outlook of the OS. It's more simplistic and there's a whole lot of gaussian blur thingamabob going on too. It gives off a very clean and futuristic look. Really love the subtle changes such as the icons moving when you move your phone and the folders adapt the colour of the background, making your screen look more dynamic and in-sync.
This is the homescreen and as I said, the colour of the folder is adapted from your background thus the pinkish tint and honestly, I appreciate these little details. The basic icons are also evolved to fit in with the simplistic concept the iOS7 is conveying.
The notification centre has taken up a new look as well. It has tabs now, namely 'Today', 'All' & 'Missed'. The 'Today' tab basically displays what you have on your schedule for that day. THE 'All' tab speaks for itself and the 'Missed' tabs display what calls or texts you've missed. Pretty handy.
Next will be what'll happen when you double-tap your home button.
It's basically an overview of what apps you have running and to remove/quit the apps, you have to swipe the screen of the particular app up instead of clicking the little dash on the previous OS-s. Not so happy about this because I prefer the fast way of exiting the apps the previous way but this'll do.
Moving on to the basic functionalities of the iOS, I love how simplistic and clean the dial keypad looks.
The button rings around the number adapts the colour from your home screen's background too!
This is how the keypad and the messages look like. Then again, a very clean and straight-forward look. I like how Apple has converted to a lighter colour-scheme. The previous OS-s were very dull-looking.
Another new change that I like is when you swipe up from your home screen, this little thing will pop up.
It shows the simple toggles to adjust your settings such as the Airplane Mode, your Wi-fi, Bluetooth, 'Do Not Disturb' mode, the rotation lock and brightness setting. They've also included a mini-music player showing you what is now playing and other toggles as well.
I'm also loving how the new music player looks like.
All in all, I think the iOS7 looks spiffin' and I'm someone who appreciate the littlest of changes and Apple has really stepped up their game. Word is out that it gets launched officially today so enjoy the new features!
